Meet Brenda from Primary Inspired

Hi! My name is Brenda & I am a Teaching Blog Addict! I'm also from Indiana & this is my 8th year teaching. My first three years, I was part of a job share team in 2nd grade, & then moved full time 5 years ago as a 1st & 2nd grade looping teacher.

I absolutely LOVE looping. It is just inspiring to be see the growth of a child from just beginning 1st grade to ready to go to third! Watching their growth is nothing short of phenomenal.  I love my job!

I discovered teaching blogs the winter of 2011 ("The Winter that Would Not End" as I call it), & was so inspired by what I found & learned! I decided I wanted to be a part of that, & started my own blog in March. I believe blogging has made me a better teacher-- more creative & more purposeful in my thinking.
