Heart Art

Here is one of my favorite Valentine's art projects because it allows children to be creative with hearts, and you'll never see two projects that are exactly the same.



  • Give students several sheets of construction paper in red, black, & white.
  • Have students cut different size hearts from the different colors.
  • Be sure to show them how to fold the paper in half for symmetrical hearts.
  • They can glue the hearts on pink construction paper to create an animal, a special scene, or anything else they desire.
