I hope you had a great week!!! I wanted to share with all of you a strategy I use in my class that I use regularly to help activate my students' background knowledge as well as wrap up the lesson with it.
I love using Anticipation Guides with my kids. It helps me trigger their interests and quickly assess how much knowledge {if any} they come with. It is also a great alternative assessment tool and very easy to use for differentiated instruction.
I use it in whole group & small guided groups.
Best part is that is so versatile and can be used across the curriculum.
