Nursery Rhyme Fun FREEBIE-- Do You Do Humpty Dumpty??

I love teaching my kindergarteners Nursery Rhymes, but I don't just teach them the rhyme and call it good once they know it.  I build on the rhyme's topic and provide opportunities in each subject to enrich their learning experience.  Nursery Rhymes provide a natural way of learning phonemic awareness skills, as well as phonic experiences for your students.  You can easily integrate the topics throughout the curriculum for math, science, and art as well.  I always use Humpty Dumpty as the springboard for my oviparous unit in the spring and this spring was no different.  It is so fun to guess what could be inside Humpty's egg because there are so many creatures that come from eggs.  Come on over to see what else we did with Humpty during our oviparous kick off and grab my FREE Humpty Dumpty problem solivng packet.  Who wouldn't love to solve problems for the egg that all the king's horses and all the king's men could never put together again???
