St. Patrick's Day Blog Hunt

Have you found the St. Patrick's Day Blog Hunt yet? It's a great collaboration of some fabulous teacher bloggers. We have gotten together and are posting at least one freebie a day to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

I was day number 12 with a writing activity based on the book Lucky Tucker by Leslie McGuirk. Teachers read the book which tells how a cute little puppy turns his luck around by rolling around in some clover. He ends up having the luckiest day ever, but his lucky day is based on puppy things like catching a falling ice cream cone and getting a new shipment of dog toys. This activity asks students to think about what would make their day a lucky one. And it might be different things for different students. The activity includes a four-leaf clover story planner and St. Patrick's Day-themed writing paper... and it's all free!

Just visit Sub Hub for all the links... and a link to Day 1 where you can start and grab that freebie, and follow the clovers through the whole blog trail.
