The Teacher Bag... An Office On The Go...

Do you take your teacher bag with you while you wait at the ballpark, the soccer field and dance class?  While your little ones are off doing their thing are you working out of your teacher bag?   Maybe you are like me and bring home a ton of stuff on Fridays, to plan for the following week.  No matter how you tote your stuff to and from school, you need the perfect bag.  I have a lot of bags, which teacher doesn't?  However, my favorite all time bags are these two.

I love this bag because it holds my important files in this nice file box.  I actually have two of these boxes, so from time to time I can switch out the boxes if I need to bring the other one home.

My other bag is this larger bag.  It too holds a ton of stuff, especially when I need to bring those teacher manuals home; they are big and heavy.

My teacher bag needs to be organized, I need to have it be my mini-office/desk on the go.  If I am to be productive while away from the classroom, sitting in the car and waiting, I need to have everything I could possibly need.
  • Writing utensils- pens, pencils, Sharpies in different colors
  • Post-it notes, different colors and sizes
  • Reading glasses
  • Stapler
  • Flash Drive
  • Label Maker- just in case
  • Calculator
  • Binder Clips
  • Scissors
  • Hand-Sanitizer, Kleenex, Lotion
  • Notebook to jot down ideas
  • Clipboard
  • Magazine or Catalog- in case I don't want to work:)

There are times when I find that I cart stuff to and from school during the week, yet never look at it.  Please tell me I'm not the only one.

If you want to see more pictures of how I organize my teacher bag- stop by my blog Time 4 Organization While you are there, share how you organize your bag and it's contents.
