ALERT! If you are a MOM of room 331 please do not read this post! It is all about our Mother's Day Surprise!
Friends~I decided that I wanted to make something new for Mother's Day. I have been racking my brain trying to come up with something. I have seen several Mother's Day necklaces made but I just was nervous about trying them. Well, today I went out and bought some supplies and gave it a shot!
Here is what our creation looked like before it went in the oven.
I had Ian place his thumbprint in the center.
Ian had fun painting it.
He picked pink because he said I always wear pink:)
Check out the finished product below. I am really happy with how it turned out. I think I might make them a bit smaller and I also bought a square cookie cutter in case some of my kiddos want to do something different.
I am planning on adding this sweet poem to a handmade card for my kiddos's Moms.
