Beat the Summer Boredom Blues

Many of us are counting down the days, maybe hours, until summer vacation begins. You plan and plan all year long and when summer comes, you just want to chill out. If you are not a parent, by all means, go right ahead. But for those of us with our own crew of kids at home, you are sure to be hit up for constant entertainment. The last thing you want to do is to try and plan more activities. I've asked many moms what they like to do to beat the summer boredom blues. I have compiled a list of 101 activities that are sure to help your summer be more fun and more memorable than ever before.

The list contains free activities that require little to no planning as well as fun things that might cost a few dollars. Most of the activities are geared towards elementary age kids but can be modified for older or younger kids too.

I have a printable list on my blog for you to keep with you at all times. You never know when the shout of, "MOM! I'm bored!" will erupt through the halls of your home.
