Toddler/Preschool Tasks

Toddlers and Preschoolers are constantly changing and growing.  As educators and parents, one of the best things we can do for these little learners is provide them with a variety of learning opportunities.  At this age (2-3), it is so important that these activities are directed by their interests.  Although a toddler may not like an activity one week, they may enjoy it the following week.  The most important thing is to keep it FUN and full of variety!

In this weeks Toddler Post, I have included some very simple ways to practice and assess the following skills:

*Number Recognition
*Listening Skills
*Shape Identification and Recognition
*Sound Discrimination
*Number Discrimination

Many of these activities described on our blog cost very little and you probably already have many of the materials at home.  So hop on over to The Moffatt Girls blog to check out some FUN activities for the littlest learners!
This simple activity was designed to assess sounds and letters.
