I am a big fan of interactive bulletin boards and usually have 1 or 2 going at a time in my classroom. I usually switch them out after a month or so. The kids always enjoy being involved in these bulletin boards and love taking ownership over something that THEY helped make. This particular board was up during part of our geometry unit, specifically when we were learning more about 2D and 3D figures. The kids were asked to bring in items from home that represented 2D and 3D shapes. They brought in all sorts of items, as you can see in the photo above! Hop on over to read more about this bulletin board AND to get a free copy of the activity sheet to go along with the bulletin board. Click on the picture or my bloggy button below to come on over!! :)
