Have you ever used exit slips in your classroom? I love exit slips as a quick informal way to find out what the students learned during the lesson (or maybe didn't learn which is also a great reflection piece for me too). You can even use exit slips as a preassessment for the next day's lesson so that you can tier your groups before you even begin!
In the past, I have always used cut up scrap paper or index card to use as my exit slips, but I decided to make them a little cute this time around and made up some beach themed exit slips!
Stop by The Organized Classroom Blog to find the steps I have used to make exit slips work for me. While you are there, grab your beach theme exit slip freebie too!
