Wood Blocks as a Learning Tool?

Wood blocks can be inexpensive (if you look in the right places) and used for virtually any subject or grade level as a fabulous manipulative!  Add a few fun stickers for the concept you are about to learn, and you are set to rock and "roll"!

Kids love the roll and play with dice, so they are sure to love your homemade version - and they won't even know they are learning!  If you place them on a piece of carpet remnant (if you have tile floor classrooms), then they will be virtually silent as well - BONUS!

Use these fun learning blocks during center time, a fun end-of-the-chapter review, or even as a team-building activity!  In my latest blog post at The Organized Classroom Blog, I let you know how I created them, as well as a few suggestions to your wheels turning.  Oh - and of course, I also have a fun way to store them in classroom too with a freebie label!

Enjoy and see you there!
