As the summer break approaches (in the UK we have another 2 weeks before we break...) I have started to turn my mind to the Dreaded Summer Dip. This year it's all the more difficult because many of my students will be going home to Poland, Portugal and further afield, and will return to school in September with a dip in their language skills to cope with, on top of the usual dip in reading, writing and maths.
I fell asleep the other night and dreamed up a solution. Pop along to my blog to find out what I did.
You can also join up with me at my first Linky Party to add your hints and tips on dealing with the Summer Dip for other teachers to enjoy.
