Fourth of July activities that are a blast!

Are you as excited for the Fourth of July as I am? We have been having a blast creating crafts, conducting science experiments, reading books, and making special treats for the holiday. Below are several activities that have my children's stamp of approval.

We made dessert pizza with cream cheese/marshmallow fluff icing, strawberries, and blueberries. So yummy!
Here is a friend's daughter making fireworks using paint and blowing through a straw.
We watched the colors explode in our fireworks science experiment.
We made a flag from tissue paper.
My son made a flag from Legos. He will find any reason to incorporate Legos into our lessons. :)
We made stars using shaving cream. These are so cool!
We made crayon resist paintings. My kids kept saying "Wow!" as we wiped away the excess paint.

Have a wonderful Fourth of July!
